Entry for September 25, 2007
More exciting communication from our "Tools for Schools" page:

We received the tools yesterday. I had a class this morning, and we were working on an outlet, 1/2 controlled by a switch. Of course, the first student plugged in the little yellow "correct wiring"device, and saw the outlet was off. Never checked the always live side. I gave him your red plug grip to help him take out th receptacle, and was he surprised when one of the lights lit up! (I later showed them how to use a ticker).

Your device provides a safe way to remove a receptacle, and take it out far enough to check connections.

I previously submitted that you add a level to the device. May you can also add a "Black" and "White" notice on the side of the tool, just to add to less problems.

Your device makes it easy to put the receptacle back into the box, without wasting time trying to get the left and right sides of the receptacle even with the wall.

A great product!

I am showing it to a few of my contractor friends, and I am sure they will order some tools for their crews.

Thank you so much for sending the samples...my students will order them for their use.

In a few days we will try the switch pluggin in class.

Again, Thank You!

A.S.
